Even in Tobacco Country, legislators have passed a smoking ban to be effective in 2010. Yes, the impact to the economy will be harsh, but that will only lead to the pre-prepared solution of the North American Union will a “new” currency of the Amero, much like the EU’s Euro across the pond. In this instance the corruption of science prevailed. The bill, now signed by Governor Perdue, states at the very beginning:
§ 130A-491. Legislative findings and intent. Science has never proved that SHS causes any of those diseases. If nonsmokers have been getting cancer, heart disease, and asthma attacks for all these years, right along with smokers, then how could these diseases have ever been deemed “smokers’ diseases”? The very wording highlights the absurdity of antismoking science. Yet, a sweeping, damaging law is based in this so-called science? Moreover, the 2006 Surgeon General’s Report did NOT say that there is no risk-free level of secondhand smoke. That was from his press release with the report, but the report could never prove any such thing. Not only have many people been highly critical of the report, the report itself admits to being an epidemiological (statistical) study but states on page 22, "The quantitative results of the meta-analyses, however, were not determinate in making causal inferences in this Surgeon General's report." A statistical study that does not rely on quantitative results. The obvious manipulations are well-known as is the shoddy antismoking science. Meanwhile, as they collapse three niches of the free market (antismoking, smoking/nonsmoking choice, smoker friendly) into a single niche (antismoking), the same politicios declare that "studies show" no economic harm from smoking bans. The truth is that the upcoming ban in North Carolina was on the horizon for the last year. the airports suddenly became antismoking in a big way with "No Smoking" signs everywhere. It gives the airports the surreal we're-watching-you atmosphere like a late night thriller. The abdundance of advertisements for pharmaceutical drugs and treatments add to the feel of a horror flick. With the enforced heightened tensions of travel these days, it's just as well that people feel like they're in a movie when flying, yes? Ah, but none of that matters now. The destruction of science, law and humanity is virtually complete. Smokers and nonsmokers who fought the antismoking cartel knew that they weren’t fighting for "the right to smoke," but they have been slandered as “tobacco shills” and “pro-smokers” all the same. What they called the “antismoking playbook” is now applied to drinkers (even moderate drinkers), the obese (even slightly overweight), pet owners and almost everyone else. And OWNS-U does not favor any country, it is global as seen in this letter from the Action on Smoking and Health (ASH). No outrage. Just a few mild, civilized tea parties in the US and other gatherings of that ilk. |
